Nature of the FPE1

 The Guide to Examinations for CFP® Certification says:  “The FPSC Level 1 examination is a competency-based examination of up to four hours in duration. The examination consists of approximately 95 multiple-choice questions. The questions are a combination of stand-alone, multiple-choice questions and two case studies with related multiple-choice questions.  Each question focuses on specific elements of the CFP Professional Competency Profile and may also require integration across several financial planning areas. License to Use Study Aids for the Certified Financial Planner® Examinations

As a purchaser of study aids for the Certified Financial Planner® Examinations, you are licensed to use the Software until the date of the next CFP® Examinations. Your license expires as of that date and the Software will not run. Should you wish to use the study aids for a subsequent exam, you can purchase another copy. Some candidates register for the FPSC Level 1 Examination (FPE1), but do not write for various personal reasons.
